Brogan Live, Act 1, Scene 1

Brogan's very first music performance was last night and it was every bit as memorable as we expected but in some unexpected ways.

The kids, including ours, were darling. That is one for the "expected" column. As were the smiles that both Daddy and I got, individually, from Brogan each time he picked out our faces in the crowd. (I was a moving target because I was following/chasing Brynna around the sanctuary. In hindsight, we really should have gotten a sitter.)

What was in the "unexpected" column was that there was little or no antsing, no nose picking and absolutely no inadvertent flashing of the audience. Not a single kid! And these were all children between the ages of 3 and 5. It was remarkable.

What also surprised us was Brogan's utter indifference to the whole program. Sure - he sang, marched and rang his little bell with the best of 'em. But, truly, he could not have cared less about being there. To each his own, as they say. And this was obviously not high on his To Do list.

Here are a few glimpses of our unforgettable evening...

Brynna wanted to check out the stage and see what all the fuss was about.

Brogan and Addison were each other's moral support throughout the evening. Their exchanged glances were priceless! Just check out this video and you'll see what I mean...

Adorable, right?
