Sweet Somethings

Here is a quick update on what both--yes, both--of my sweet children are saying these days.

Brogan

"All my by self." Read it a few times and you'll realize what my little independent toddler is getting at.

"Will you" and "May I" are often interchangeable when asking questions. For example, "Mommy, may you please help me with my shoes?"

There are two amounts of almost anything. Either "just a widdle bit" or "a buuuunch."

When anyone remarks about how big he's getting, his almost-always reply is, "Yes, see my long legs?" Somewhere along the line, he got it in his head that long legs = big boy. He is too funny.

When Brynna is upset, he will go over to her, stroke her face and say, "It's OK sweet girl." How cute is that?

Brynna

"DAAAAD-dee" was officially her first word. This name applies to everyone in our house (including the dog) with slightly more emphasis on the person it actually belongs to.

"Mamamamama" is finally en vogue. Finally. It's sometimes said in a growl, which is lovely.

And I know this is only the beginning...
