Happy 1st Birthday to Brogan!

What a difference a day makes. On Tuesday we had an infant then by Wednesday he was a toddler. Poof! Just like that. Yes, our little Brogan turned a year old on May 6th.

In some ways, the time has flown. In others, it definitely feels like we've been parents for a year. Nevertheless, we wouldn't trade any of it for the world -- not the surprise arrival a month ahead of schedule. Not the wrestling Baby Houdini back into his SwaddleMe blanket countless times day and night. Not the eczema that we (and apparently his pediatrician) mistook for cradle cap for 3 long months until we got the right medicine and it cleared up within 24 hours. Not him getting his second tooth on our ski trip to Utah while we were sleeping in the same room with him, literally 6 inches away from his crib in a bed that had sheets made of something similar to recycled newspaper so that any movement we made was bound to wake up the volatile child. And not the thousand other new-parent worries like are we feeding him enough? Are we feeding him too much? Is he getting enough sleep? Will he be permanently scarred because I nicked his thumb while trimming his itty bitty nails? Nope. None of it. Because trading any part of it would mean that Brogan wouldn't be the Brogan that he is today. And we love our dear, sweet, hilarious Brogie.

Happy Birthday, Sweetie!

All Our Love,
Ma-ma-ma-ma and Da-da-da-da-da
